Inspired by the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences’ info-graphic “Edibles to Plant in October,” we decided to highlight everything on the list that starts from seed and is growing in October. The edibles listed below are zoned statewide. The Southern region takes a full lead with seeding this month. Northern and Central regions: Sorry, but bean, corn, cucumber, peas and squash sections are not for you this month!
