Please join the Farm Kitchen Collective as we retreat to Deep Spring Farm in Alachua for a delectable and delightful pop-up dinner experience on Sunday, June 23, from 5:30-8:00 pm, featuring their fresh organically-grown blueberries and other farm produce, as well as the tastiest ingredients sourced from other local growers and producers. Visit www.deepspringfarm.com/blueberry-solstice-supper-2019.
Arrive at 5:30 to enjoy live music, hors d’oeuvres and drinks on the Deep Spring waterfront under the sprawling canopy of live oaks. Then stroll through the organic gardens with Leela and Michael Robinson, Deep Spring Farm owners, to taste and experience the abundance of summer solstice and learn about farm enterprises. Gather for seating near the barn with an expansive view of Sunrise Pond as we serve the soup, salad, and entree courses.
The Farm Kitchen Collective’s cooks will provide insight into how the ingredients were prepared to create flavors and aesthetic of the courses. Finally, return to the shelter of the oaks and sway to more music as you savor dessert and coffee or tea. You’ll go home filled with the goodness of the land and the community we share! Musical guests: Baer and the Lady.
