Erickson Farm in Canal Point, on the southeastern shore of Lake Okeechobee, has opened its farm stand. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The stand is closed Saturday. The stand is open Thursday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mangoes available now are the Tommy Atkins, Van Dyke, Southern Blush, Duncan and Pickering varieties. Prices are the same as last season: Baskets are $6 for Tommy Atkins or Van Dykes; $10 for premium varieties. Half-bushel (25-pound) boxes are $20 or $35.
