July is historically Florida’s wettest month and can be summed up in one word — “HumBug” — a combination of humidity and bugs. The start of our two-month annual heat wave has our A/C units working overtime and our lawns looking overgrown. “Fun in the sun” seems over-rated at the moment. However, with the summer heat comes an annual madness to entice you out of your homes. I’m referring, of course, to none other than the many celebrations of Mango Madness!

July kicks off the magnificent mango harvests, so don’t miss out on venturing out and experiencing a farm tour, mango samplings, and/or demonstrations offering recipe ideas involving the magnificent mango.
