There’s a new food festival coming to Delray Beach and it goes by the name – A Taste of Recovery. While it centers around food and wine, it does so in a different way. This festival focuses on recovery, something that Louie Bossi, Chef/Partner of Louie Bossi’s Ristorante, holds close to his heart — as he, himself was struggling with a heroin addiction just nine years ago.
Now, after being clean for 9 years and knowing how much addiction affects the hospitality industry, Bossi wants to give back to the community. He has teamed up with some of his restaurant friends to host Taste of Recovery, with proceeds benefiting the Crossroads Club, a 501(c)3 that provides meeting space for 12-step recovery groups free of charge.
A Taste of Recovery will take place on Saturday, June 3 from 6-10 p.m at the Old School Square Pavillion in Delray Beach from 6-10 p.m. Guests will enjoy a variety of gourmet bites from some of the top restaurants in the area, along with live entertainment, coffee and desserts. Cost of the event is $40.
