With season approaching we feel like we have this empty canvas for us to draw on — and to create a wonderful book of memories. One of those memories will certainly be a trip to Swank Specialty Produce for their Swank Table Farm Style Events. Now in its fourth straight year, Swank Farms presents a series of farm-to-table dining events on Sundays (though, there are a few exceptions) right on the farm in Loxahatchee. Now, this is not your basic dinner on the farm, rather it’s almost like the Creme de la Creme of Palm Beach County dining events — and once you attend, you’ll be planning your next visit.
Taking place every month from December until April, Swank Table events whisk you away from the bustle of your everyday life and bring you to a place that is filled with joy and calmness — and amazing food and wine. Jodi and Darren Swank invite in some of the top names in the industry for each event (usually four chefs, a sommelier, a bartender or mixologist), who create a sumptuous multi-course meal using ingredients from the farm, picked just hours before.
While the dinner is the focus here, Swank Table is more like the ultimate dining experience. It includes an outing to the farm; vibrant cocktails; a tour of the farm; a chance to meet the rockstar chefs; wines paired by a noted sommelier; an incredible dinner with an amazing group of diners; and live entertainment to round out the evening.
This year’s season of dinners kicks off in December with the Seminole Hard Rock team and finishes off with a pig-themed dinner.
These dinners cost $160 and take place rain or shine at Swank Specialty Produce, 14311 North Road in Loxahatchee; (561) 202-5648. For these dinners, guests will be served family-style with six guests per table.
