Cost: $125 for General Admission and $200 for VIP.  (TICKETS)

Although the actual Taste of the Nation event doesn’t take place until April 14, Palm Beach wants to kick things off early. That’s why they’re hosting The Shake Up, an inaugural cocktail competition to raise funds for No Kid Hungry. This friendly competition brings together 10 of the area’s hottest restaurants, bars and breweries, who will compete against one another (in hopes of raising the most funds from the proceeds of their sales). The top two establishments who raise the most money will compete against one another in a final round at Palm Beach’s Taste of the Nation at the Kravis Center on Thurs., April 14 — and have a spot mixing up cocktails at the foyer bars at the TOTN event. The two winning restaurants will be announced on April 11.
