Mark your calendar now for the 2017 Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival taking place from February 22-26, 2017. This year’s event, benefiting the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University, will include more than 90 events.
Tickets are currently on sale and range in price from $20-$500. Festival tickets can be purchased online at sobewff.org or by calling (877) 762-3933 weekdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
During the festival, visitors can experience a variety of events, comprised of signature events (Burger Bash, Best of the Best, Swine & Wine, Chicken Coupe and Grand Tasting Village), one-of-a-kind brunch and dinner experiences, late-night parties, seminars, family-friendly activities and more. For those wanting to stay away from the large crowds, a variety of events in Broward County will be offered, as part of the Taste Fort Lauderdale Series.

This year’s tribute dinner, guided by Anthony Bourdain, will honor ThinkFoodGroup chef/owner José Andrés alongside Maisons Marques & Domaines (MMD) owners Jean-Claude Rouzaud and Frédéric Rouzaud. Featured chefs for this dinner include: Frederic Delaire, Rubén García, Emeril Lagasse, Michael Voltaggio, Aitor Zabala and Andrew Zimmern.
South Beach Wine & Food Festival at a discount
If you’re looking to go to the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, it is possible. There are a variety of events priced at $100 or less like Salty, Sweet & Savory Treats with Bar Lab, The Salty Donut and Sarsaparilla Club; The Art of Tiki with Robert Irvine; Food Fight hosted by Guy Fieri and more.
In addition, South Beach Wine & Food Festival is looking for volunteers for the event. The roles of the volunteers vary but include leads (working alongside the event managers and production teams), front of the house (registration, talent ambassadors, etc.), back of the house (logistics, set-up, break-down, golf cart drivers, etc.) and culinary.
