Why visit: Tradewinds Park was acquired in 1974 from Margueritte C. McLean, whose family used the property for breeding and raising thoroughbred horses. The north side of the park is a rural farm setting, with livestock and horses; also offered are educational farm tours, trail rides, pony rides and a farmhouse museum. The Tradewinds Educational Farm was developed to reflect the history of agricultural activities in Broward County.
