Our talented pool of bloggers will keep you informed of happenings around the state having to do with farms, green and farmers markets, and restaurants that support those farms. Educational activities such as farm tours and workshops also will be featured, Florida’s special foods highlighted, and profiles of those who work with the state’s foods will be here, as well.

Look for videos and events so that you can interact with our staff, too, and get to know those involved.

With much pride in what we have produced, I’ll be leaving as editor, though I’m leaving behind a great team to follow through on the website. Our initial vision and goals remain: spotlighting small agribusinesses in Florida, and the food chain with all its links.

I’ve enjoyed hearing from all of you who have read and supported us, and I was pleased to meet many of you in the fields, at the markets, and in the kitchens. As a longtime Florida food and travel writer, I learn something new every day, and hope to continue bringing you stories about our state.
