Cocktails — they’re always a good idea, but they taste even better when you’re drinking them for a cause. That’s why we were thrilled to find out that Tommy Bahama and Loggerhead Marinelife Center have teamed up for a tasty promotion centered around a Loggerhead Cooler that not only tastes amazing, but it makes you feel good, too.
Stop by Tommy Bahama Harborside Place in Jupiter during the month of May and order the thirst quenching Loggerhead Cooler. With every purchase of the cocktail, Tommy Bahama will donate $2 to the treatment and recovery of “Tommy B,” an injured green sea turtle rescued by Loggerhead Marinelife Center located in Juno Beach.
This turtle, rescued near the Ft. Pierce Inlet, is currently in rehab at the center — and is on his way to making a full recovery. Once fully recovered, he will be released back into his natural habitat. If you’d like to check out “Tommy B’s” progress, visit Loggerhead online or visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center located at 14200 U.S. Hwy 1 in Juno Beach.
If you can’t make it to Tommy Bahama or just want to celebrate everything Loggerhead is doing to save the turtles, you can also make the Loggerhead Cooler at home, as we have the cocktail recipe for you.
Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar is located at Harbourside Place, 126 Soundings Ave #2 in Jupiter. For more information, call (561) 406-6631.
