Events set for Saturday, April 21, in Lake Worth to celebrate Earth Day include one sponsored by Healthier Lake Worth.

Clean Green Community — a street cleanup — is set for 8 to 10:30 a.m. at 1718 S. Douglas St. Meet there at the For the Children building. For more information, email [email protected]

Later that day is an event at the Gray Mockingbird Community Garden. Set for April 21 from noon to 5 p.m., the Lake Worth Earth Day Festival will feature music, a kids’ bounce house, plant “adoptions” and STEM-related activities (science, technology, engineering and math).

April 22 is the official date for Earth Day, which was founded in 1970.
