The Hatcher Mango Hill farm stand, at 1908 Hypoluxo Road in Lantana, has opened. Hours are Monday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.; and Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.
The stand is open — weather permitting — but only until the day’s fresh mango picks are sold.
In addition to ripe mangoes, Hatcher Mango Hill offers homemade Hatcher-mango jam; gallon bags of frozen Hatcher-mango slices; and owner Marilynn Hatcher’s recipe book, Hatcher’s Mango Thrills.
Hatcher Mango Hill is on the southwest corner of Hypoluxo Road at Interstate 95, at the top of the hill.
To learn how to freeze mangoes for later use, read Deborah Hartz-Seeley’s story “How to freeze mangoes so you can enjoy them all year round.”
