The 70th annual Indiantown Rodeo is set for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20, in Indiantown at Timer Powers Park, 14100 SW Citrus Blvd.

The rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. both days. Gates open at 5 p.m.; food, drinks and specialty shopping are available.


General admission is $25 ($18 in advance, through Oct. 12); children 12 and under, $8; children 5 and under are free. Admission to the Exclusive Rodeo Experience is $75. Ticket prices include parking and tax.

Competitions include Bareback Bronc Riding, Barrels, Bull Riding, Cowgirl’s Barrel Racing, Open Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, and Team Roping.

The rodeo has been named one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. The rodeo’s Kids Corral won first place for New/Improved Agricultural Education Exhibit from the Florida Federation of Fairs at the 2016 Martin County Fair.

A limited number of Exclusive Rodeo Experience tickets are on sale online for $75 each. This package ticket includes two beer or wine drinks, light refreshments, an exclusive arena-side seating area, air-conditioned restrooms, parking and sales tax.
