What’s better than drinking a cocktail? Drinking a cocktail for a cause and for the entire month of March, you can do just that, thanks to The Shake Up. This culinary competition is part of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign and puts 20 of Palm Beach County’s top restaurants, bars and breweries up against one another.

The Shake Up, now in it’s second year, not only raises money through the sale of these featured cocktails, but it also raises awareness for Palm Beach’s Taste of the Nation, coming to the Kravis Center on April 20. The two top winners of the competition will secure a spot to show off their talent by slinging drinks in the foyer at the April 20 event.  Crop Organic Vodka, Farmer’s Organic Gin and/or Michter’s Rye will all be featured on the night of the event.

What is No Kid Hungry?

No child should go hungry in America, but 1 in 5 kids will face hunger this year. Using proven, practical solutions, No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger today by ensuring that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget. When we all work together, we can make sure kids get the healthy food they need. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of national anti-hunger organization Share Our Strength. Join us at NoKidHungry.org
