While some people get their holiday shopping done early, it doesn’t quite work that way for everyone — and last minute shopping just seems to be the way to go. Instead of dealing with the holiday crowds, why not shop from the comfort of your home — and get your loved ones tickets to an upcoming culinary event taking place this winter? Here are our suggestions for you:

Jan 7-17, 2016: Uncorked – Key Largo & Islamorada Food & Wine Festival

Enjoy a taste of the Keys at this year’s Uncorked. This 10-day celebration will include a variety of activities for every palate and budget. From wine tastings to a Junior Chocolatier Class to a progressive dinner, your taste buds will enjoy every moment. The highlight of the festival is the Grand Tasting Event, which takes place on the 16th, and includes gourmet food and wine tastings, cooking classes and wine and spirits seminars.

Jan. 30, 2016: Miami Beer Festival
The Miami Beer Festival returns to Marlins Park on Sat., January 30. Join in the fun and enjoy dozens of beers from craft and international breweries, along with many of South Florida’s best breweries. Feb. 20, 2016: Field to Feast Dinner featuring Walt Disney World Chefs
Cost: $195, with 100% of event proceeds going to benefit Second Harvest Kids Cafe

For an over-the-top feast on the farm, head to Long & Scott Farms (26216 CR 448A, Mt. Dora) on Feb. 20. The farm will host a multi-course dinner to benefit Second Harvest Kids Cafe. Guests will enjoy an outstanding menu, complete with locally sourced ingredients, with craft beer, wine and cocktails.  A terrific line-up of chefs are working together to prepare a feast to remember. These include: Chef Scott Hunnel from Victoria & Albert’s; Chef Brian Piasecki from California Grill; Chef Tim Keating from Flying Fish Café; Pastry Chef Jeff Barnes or Disney’s Contemporary Bakery; and more.

Are you looking to hang out with your favorite celebrity chefs? Well, the Food Network and Cooking Channel SOBEWFF may be just for you. This annual festival returns to South Florida in late February and tickets are going quickly. This 4-day culinary event, presented by FOOD & WINE Magazine, includes walk around tastings, wine and spirits seminars, formal sit-down brunches and dinners, late night parties — and there will even be SOBEWFF sponsored event in Fort Lauderdale.
