It’s definitely possible and it’s part of the new cocktail program at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. This northern Florida getaway boasts its new 100 Mile Cocktail Menu, which feature ingredients from within 100 miles of this AAA Five Diamond Resort. Think — Vintners Red wine from St. Augustine’s San Sebasian Winery and Florida Cane Vodka from St. Augustine Distillery.
Right now, through the end of February, Ponte Vedra’s 100 Mile specialty cocktails can be enjoyed at the resorts’ Golf Club Dining Room and renovated tavern — but, they can also be enjoyed at home, thanks to these cocktail recipes they kindly shared with. The first — a red sangria — features San Sebastian Winery Vintners Red, while the second — a Mint Hound — features St. Augustine Distillery Co.’s Florida Cane Vodka.

4 oz San Sebastian Winery Vintners Red
1 oz Handcrafted blueberry syrup
6-8 Local blueberries
1 Orange slice
1 Lime slice
1 Lemon slice
Slice lemon, lime and orange up and place in glass with blueberries. Gently press down on fruit with utensil to squeeze out partial juices. In a separate shaker, mix together wine, blueberry syrup and ice and gently shake. Pour into glass with sliced fruit and enjoy.
1.5 oz St. Augustine Distillery Co. Florida Cane Vodka
1 oz Local Mandarin, Florida ruby red grapefruit juice
6-8 Local mint leaves
Mix vodka, grapefruit juice, ice and 3-4 mint leaves in shaker and shake vigorously. Take remaining mint leaves and clap between hands to release mint flavor. Place mint leaves and ice into glass and pour into drinking glass. Garnish with final mint leaf on top and enjoy.
